For standard cases, the review process takes 24 to 72 hours, while complex cases may take up to one week. However, in emergency situations, the review will be completed within four hours.

This procedure is usually performed under mild anesthesia or spinal anesthesia. However, in some cases, general anesthesia may be required depending on the patient’s condition. The final decision is made by the anesthesiologist based on the patient’s medical needs.

Patients are usually admitted to the hospital one day before surgery for necessary tests. Post-surgery hospitalization depends on the patient’s condition and the doctor’s evaluation, but in most cases, a stay of 2 to 3 days is sufficient.

Samimi’s engineering team typically performs the necessary measurements on the patient’s CT angiography and provides an initial plan to the physician. Based on this information, the doctor assesses the extent of the aortic disease and decides how much of the aorta requires endovascular treatment, determining the number and sizes of the necessary devices.
